Private equity firm Amicus Capital Partners has closed its second fund, the Amicus Capital Partners India Fund II, at $214 million. They aim to close the fund at $200 million.
This fundraising effort follows the successful closure of the first fund and has backed 14 startups to date.
Key Highlights of the fund:
- The fund has plans to invest in 10-12 high-growth-potential startups across fintech, healthtech and manufacturing sectors.
- Initial check sizes range from INR 100 crore to INR 250 crore.

Mahesh Parasuraman, Co-founder of Amicus, thanked the investor for their strong trust and shared on LinkedIn, “Exceeding our target is a testament to the belief that our investors have in us.”

This fund saw strong backing from domestic and international investors. Institutional investors like HDFC Fund Of Funds, SRI Funds, and NIIF contributed 95% of the funds.

- Overview: Kriscore Capital launched its first ₹100 crore fund, securing ₹50 crore from family offices and high-net-worth individuals. The fund plans to invest in 17–18 tech-driven startups solving large-scale challenges through technology-led solutions.
5. Swishin Ventures—$20Million Fund
- Launch Date: June 2025
- Overview: Swishin Ventures received SEBI’s Category 1 licence to launch a $20 million fund with a greenshoe option of $5 million. The fund aims to support startups in Tier-II and Tier-III cities, focusing on sectors like consumer services, BFSI, healthcare, and deep tech.
6. Speciale Invest—Fund III
- Launch Date: June 2025
- Overview: Deep-tech investor Speciale Invest plans to launch Fund III, slightly bigger than its ₹300 crore Fund II. The fund expects to back 5–6 startups in its first year with investment tickets ranging from $0.75 to 1 million.
