Independence & Impartiality
Our editorial decisions are made independently of commercial interests. Advertising relationships, sponsorships, or business partnerships do not influence our news coverage, story selection, or editorial positions. We maintain a strict separation between our editorial and commercial teams.
Accuracy & Fact-Checking
We verify all facts before publishing. Our writers cross-check information against official sources, company filings, regulatory documents, and on-the-record statements. When we make factual errors, we correct them promptly and transparently.
Sources & Attribution
We attribute all information to its source. We use named sources wherever possible. Anonymous sources are used only when the information cannot be obtained through other means and is in the public interest. We make clear when information is sourced from press releases, social media, or secondary sources.
Corrections Policy
If we publish an error, we correct it as quickly as possible. Corrections are noted at the top of the relevant article with a clear explanation of what was changed. We do not silently edit published articles. To flag an error, please email corrections@startupro.in.
Conflicts of Interest
Our editorial team members are required to disclose any potential conflicts of interest. We do not allow journalists to write about companies in which they have a financial stake.
Advertising & Sponsored Content
Sponsored content and native advertising are always clearly labeled as “Sponsored” or “Promoted Content” to distinguish them from editorial content. Advertisers do not influence editorial coverage in any way.
Opinion & Analysis
Opinion pieces and editorial analysis are clearly labeled as such and represent the views of the author, not the official position of Startupro News.
