Blinkit has come up with an exciting new service that delivers glasses in just 10 minutes, thanks to a partnership with Lenskart. According to a post by Blinkit’s founder, there’s no need for a prescription. Customers can open the Blinkit app, pick their power from options like -0.25, -0.5, up to -1.5, choose their favourite frame colour, and place the order easily.
This quick delivery service is now available in major cities like Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and Mumbai. It is an important step for the quick commerce leader as it expands its quick-commerce offering and partners with popular brands like Lenskart to bring more convenience to customers’ daily life.

Blinkit Adds Parental Controls for Safer Family Use
Just a day before this launch, it also introduced parental controls on its app. Now, users can hide sensitive or age-restricted products behind a PIN and set a recovery phone number. This helps families feel more comfortable allowing younger members to browse the app without worrying about inappropriate content.
Founder Albinder Dhindsa asked users to share feedback and ideas on how to make the app easier and safer for everyone in the family, showing the company’s focus on user experience.
