According to sources in the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, coordinated inspections are being planned, with the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) expected to lead surprise audits across storage facilities and warehouses. With the q-commerce sector poised to hit a $10 billion valuation by 2029, experts believe that rising consumer awareness around hygiene could fundamentally reshape backend operations in the industry.
