Blinkit, known for delivering groceries in just 10 minutes, is now extending that speed to emergencies — promising to reach you in 10 minutes or less.

From Small Test to Big Mission
Earlier this year, Blinkit Ambulances began with only 5 vehicles. Today, they operate 12 ambulances from 6 depots, covering nearly half of Gurugram. Calls for help have been rising steadily.
Quick Help in Critical Time
So far, Blinkit Ambulances have responded to 594 emergency calls — with more than half being critical cases. Impressively, they reached patients within 10 minutes in 83% of those cases. This fast response is building public trust.
Changing People’s Fear
Many people in India hesitate to call an ambulance, fearing delays or no response at all. Blinkit wants to change this mindset. They’re working to build trust that help will arrive quickly — and not just that. They’re also starting their own paramedic training programs to ensure their staff are both quick and compassionate.
Tough Competition in the Fast Ambulance Race
Blinkit isn’t alone in this space. Companies like Uber and Ola have tested similar ambulance services, while startups like StanPlus and Medulance are also pushing for speed. But Blinkit aims to stand out by combining speed with reliability and care.
Plans to Expand
Blinkit’s CEO recently shared that they plan to expand this service to more cities. More ambulances may soon be added in the Delhi-NCR region, and if things go well, launches in other metros will follow. They also plan to integrate the ambulance feature into the Blinkit app for easier access.

For Blinkit, this isn’t just a business move — it’s about saving lives. They want people to feel that calling an ambulance can be as fast and easy as ordering milk or bread. If the plan succeeds, it could change how India responds to medical emergencies.
