Andhra Pradesh Partners With NVIDIA to Build India’s First “AI Univesity” and Skill 10,000 Students Over Next Two Years.

In a visionary move to position Andhra Pradesh as a leading AI hub, the Government of Andhra Pradesh has joined hands with global tech leader NVIDIA to establish the proposed Artificial Intelligence University and build a world-class AI ecosystem across the state.

🎓 Skilling 10,000 Engineering Students
As part of the MoU, 10,000 engineering students across Andhra Pradesh will be trained in cutting-edge AI technologies over the next two years. NVIDIA will provide:
Curriculum guidance
Technical resources
Faculty training support
The goal: Future-proof talent and make Andhra Pradesh a top AI talent generator.

🧪 R&D, Innovation, and AI Research Centres
Beyond skilling, the collaboration will focus on:
Setting up AI research centres to solve real-world problems
Launching joint research initiatives in key sectors
Accelerating innovation across industries
This strengthens Andhra’s ambition to become a national AI research powerhouse.

🏗️ AI University With World-Class Infra
NVIDIA will help identify and provide:
Computational infrastructure
AI hardware and software platforms
Best practices for next-gen AI Factories
The AI University is expected to serve as a central hub for learning, research, and enterprise-building in artificial intelligence.

🚀 500 Startups to Be Fast-Tracked
The state will also support up to 500 AI-focused startups from Andhra Pradesh in applying to the NVIDIA Inception Program, offering:
Access to NVIDIA’s global network
Technical mentorship
Exposure to new market opportunities
This is set to unlock a massive boost for the local startup ecosystem.
