In a post shared on X by BJP MP Tejasvi Surya, he highlighted his unexpected conversation with Infosys founder, Mr. Narayan Murthy.
He referred to the conversation as a 2-hour masterclass learning. while appreciating Murthy’s contribution to the Indian IT service sector.

He highlights Infosys’s role in uplifting millions of middle class families and turning them into wealthy ones. Surya considers Murthy the pioneer of the Indian IT sector who puts India on the global stage.
“NRN pioneered the Indian IT services sector, turning it into a global powerhouse. He created wealth for literally lakhs of middle class families through Infosys.” Surya wrote.
In his two-hour-long chat on the Mumbai-Bengaluru flight, Surya learned many valuable lessons from the legendary NRN.
“From AI to manufacturing, state of our cities to upskilling our youth to ethics and leadership – it was a 2 hour masterclass learning from him.” Surya added.
While discussing his goal of achieving a 70-hour workweek, Narayan Murthy laughed and mentioned that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the only person he knows who works 100 hours a week.
“I humorously quipped at the end of our conversation that I’ll strive to meet his 70-hour-a-week target – to which he laughed and said, ‘The only person I know who probably works 100 hours a week is Prime Minister Modi!'” added Surya while concluding his post.
Meanwhile, Tejasvi Surya is serving as the MP for the Bengaluru South Lok Sabha Constituency and also the National President of BJP Yuva Morcha.
